This was a wedding I shot the weekend before I left for China. I gave them their images that week but didn’t have a chance to get any images online, so here they are! Meredith and Andrew are both so great and make such a beautiful couple! The wedding was at a beautiful church in Ft. Worth and the reception was downtown at Bass Hall. Thank you Meredith and Andrew for allowing me to be a part of your special day! I pray many blessings over your marriage in the years to come!

Callie & Evan: Wedding
I shot this wedding in Abilene last weekend and it was really so much fun. These two know how to have a wedding, that’s for sure! I can’t remember if they said they had “been in” or “been to” 18 weddings together as a couple, but either way–that’s a lot of weddings! And enough to teach you what you want to do and what you don’t want to do for your own ; ) So, needless to say, it was simple, beautiful, fun, original, laid-back, and just perfect! Callie was stunning of course, and as she walked down the aisle, Evan couldn’t help the tears that filled his eyes as he saw his bride. Such a sweet moment. I loved that at their reception they had a snow cone truck and cotton candy maker!! How fun is that!? The kids loved it of course! Callie and Evan, thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of your special day! It was an honor. And what a good one to end on— for now….I’m signing out of weddings for a while as I enjoy soaking up this precious time with my sweet boys. : ) I may do one here and there, we’ll see, but for now….over and out!
Jeff & Amanda
A beautiful day….A breathtaking bride, an adoring groom, a love for each other that is united by a mutual love and passion for Jesus. This makes for one amazing wedding! As you can see from the pictures, the focus of this day (as it should be) was Jeff and Amanda’s abundant love for each other—and doesn’t it just show all over their faces!? Talk about hard to narrow pictures down! Thank you Jeff and Amanda for allowing April and I to be a part of this amazing time in your lives. It was truly an honor. Beware….there are hundreds more images where these came from! You’ll be going through them for weeks!! : )
Enjoy!

Kelly & John {wedding}
This was hands-down one of my most favorite weddings I have ever had the privilege of shooting. What an absolutely perfect wedding to end on for a little while. (Yes, I am taking a break for a while to have a baby so I am not accepting weddings during the next 6 months. I need some strictly “mommy time” with my two boys!) Anyways, this wedding took place at Brennan Vineyards in Comanche and it was amazing. Everything was so elegant and simple and yet just absolutely stunning because of the simplicity of it all. Kelly and John have an awesome story of how they met on a bike race and randomly ran into each other again at the end because John and his friend had decided to take a short cut and not to bike the entire race. I can’t go into details because I probably won’t tell it all correctly, but it is so amazing. They had a bicycle type theme and a lot of yellow to represent the “Live Strong” motto or “Love Strong” as they interpreted it in their wedding theme. The cake had bicycles on it and there were several old bikes decorated with flowers and smaller bikes as centerpieces on a few of the tables. It was very cool! Besides the fun theme and beautiful decorations, the best part of the entire wedding was seeing how in love John and Kelly are. I love it when it is so evident and visible on their faces how much they love each other and are excited to spend their lives together. It makes me love my job that much more. It was also very easy to see how loved each of these two were by all of the guests at the wedding. I just love to see that! I do have to admit I cried….during the mother/son dance!! I mean, I didn’t just cry, I bawled….for a while….I actually couldn’t quit. It was a little embarrassing. I think it’s the pregnancy hormones….or the song….I literally bolted out of there as soon as the song was over….and cried for a while after that too!
Kelly and John, thank you so much for letting me be a part of such a wonderful day in your lives! It was a pleasure getting to know both of you and I wish you blessing upon blessing in your new life together!
Here are some highlights from the wedding….

Forrest & Ashley {wedding}
It was such a special treat for me to get to shoot Forrest and Ashley’s wedding. Forrest’s family are long-time friends of my husband’s and his mom was a very close friend of Jason’s mom, who many of you know passed away several years ago. I never had the chance to meet her, which is why it is so special to me to get to meet some of her closest friends. The wedding was beautifully simple and elegant, and amazingly, the girls were ready about 45 minutes before the ceremony started! I think that can be recorded as a first! Way to go girls! I also had the priviledge to see and catch up with a couple of friends from high school that I haven’t seen in over 10 years! So fun! Here are my favorites from the night…

Robert & Melissa {wedding}
This wedding was truly one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been a part of. Every tiny detail was amazing…from the goldfish swimming in vases on the children’s tables to the several course meal brought out by the incredible Adolphus staff, the bride’s glamorous shoes, and the elaborate place-settings and unbelievable flowers by Stacey Murdoch of The Wildflower. I could go on and on. It was fabulous to say the least. Melissa was stunning and absolutely glowing as she walked down the candlelit aisle to Robert who was waiting for her with a look that showed his absolute love for her. He was definitely taken by the beauty of his soon-to-be wife. It was like a moment taken from a fairy tale. Thank you, Melissa and Robert, for allowing me to be a part of such a special day in your lives as well as such an amazing event. I wish you the best in your new life as husband and wife.
It was also a relatively long wedding compared to most that I shoot, so I was able to capture a ridiculous amount of images. I will post a slideshow soon with more fun pics that show more of the awesome details of the day.

I couldn’t decide on which shoe pic, so I just put them both in

I just can’t get enough of how beautiful this room was…

Dallas and Marie {wedding}
Dallas and Marie’s wedding has been planned for quite some time now. In fact, when I first met with them, I made a comment that by the time their wedding came around, I would probably be pregnant again—wow, seriously, I wasn’t kidding! So, it finally arrived and it was more than worth the wait! As you can see from the pics, Marie was absolutely stunning and the wedding was beautiful. It was obvious that everything had been planned very meticulously and the entire event went very smooth. I loved the bright colors of the flowers and the classic elegance and simplicity to it all. Even the bathroom was decorated beautifully! Marie and Dallas, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day! It was such an honor.

Will & Cassie
I had such a wonderful time shooting this wedding. As beautiful as it was, it was equally as simple and laid-back. Cassie was absolutely stunning, of course and it was truly evident that Will was enamored with his bride. It is so refreshing to see a couple in love like that. The wedding was very intimate with only family and very close friends which made it such a joyful and relaxing experience. I was truly blessed to be a part of it. Thanks Will and Cassie for allowing me to take pictures of your special day. May the Lord richly bless your future together!

Michelle & Daniel {wedding}
Daniel and Michelle met and fell in love at Texas A&M, so you can bet there was quite a bit of Aggie spirit at this wedding! What I loved most though was the reception and getting to hear all
of the sweet compliments and kind words that were said about each of them. A lot of people had a lot to say and it was really special getting to hear their story and getting to learn more about them and each of their families.
It is quite evident that they are very dearly loved by their friends and families and equally so, are deeply in love with each other. Daniel and Michelle, I wish you the best in your new marriage together. I pray that you will
be blessed beyond measure and fall deeper in love with each other through each new season of marriage. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!

This picture was special to Michelle and her mom because her mom has a picture also with her maid-of-honor in front of this very same mirror from her wedding day.

I so loved the colors in these group shots so I had to include several…

I love getting this shot of the bride and groom directly after they have left the church and are alone (except for the stalking photographer) for the first time. Such a sweet moment.
